Hello Fatboy friends…yes it is simple, time is indeed precious and for most of us the time we spend on the water is the best time of all. We all work hard, and for many of us we are busy balancing time with our work, family and friends and even making time to enjoy the great outdoors.
Keeping our boats in tiptop condition is also a time consuming process. I have spent countless hours visiting local marine stores looking for specific parts or accessories for my boat. Often during this search I found myself frustrated during this endless search for a specific application needed for my boat. It is understandable that many marine stores did not have the part or accessory I was looking for…so in the end I found myself frustrated because these stores did not have what I was looking for so I ended up leaving empty handed or I bought something I thought would work but later found it wasn’t at all what I was looking for…so back in the car again to return it! Another wasted visit and hours of my life I can’t get back.
This is not the fault of the marine supply store it is the reality of the simple fact that there are hundreds of boat manufacturers, countless models, variations, sizes, lengths, horsepower, hulls, transmissions…I could go on forever but I will spare you the time…you get my point…and it is impossible for these marine supply stores to keep in stock all these variations of parts for all the different boats out there on hand at any given time.
So…what’s the answer?
Shop Online! Yup, it sounds simple…because it truly is the way to go.

I don’t know about you but I would rather leisurely browse an online store while watching the hockey game in the winter or listening to “Yacht Radio” on the satellite channel on the boat than run from store to store only to find out that I had to order the part anyways!
